I’m Edward Le Rouvre, the owner and captain of ZAYANN.My passion for kitesurfing began the way I now share it with my guests: by chasing the best spots, sailing to them, and anchoring in perfect conditions to fully immerse myself in the pristine environment and the exhilarating freedom of this incredible water sport.ZAYANN was built in Sarteneja, Belize, with construction beginning in 2010 and completing in 2012. Initially, she served as a cargo vessel, but soon after, I founded BlueGreenBelize and began offering unforgettable overnight sailing trips along Belize’s stunning barrier reef.
In 2018, everything changed when I discovered kitesurfing—the water sport I’d always dreamed of mastering—thanks to an inspiring lesson from champion kitesurfer Triina Trei at Glover’s Reef (video link). That experience ignited a new mission: to explore Belize’s waters with fresh eyes, seeking out the shallowest, safest, and most beautiful spots ideal for kitesurfing.Today, I invite guests aboard ZAYANN to experience the very best of Belize—combining comfortable sailing, world-class kitesurfing, and the pure joy of being out on the water.
